DONOR CONNECT - Connecting organ donors & recipients

DonorConnect (formerly Intermountain Donor Services), headquartered in the Salt Lake City area, is the federally designated, nonprofit community service organization dedicated to the recovery and transplantation of organs and tissues for Utah, southeastern Idaho, western Wyoming, and Elko, Nevada. Our service area encompasses more than 3.9 million residents, 90+ hospitals, and three transplant centers – Primary Children’s Hospital, Intermountain Medical Center, and University of Utah Hospital (along with the George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center).

Without the organ donor, there is no story, no hope, no transplant. But when there is an organ donor, life springs from death, sorrow turns to hope, and a terrible loss becomes a gift

Organ donation and transplantation is about people. It is about people who have been fighting simply to stay alive. They need a hero to save their lives. It is about people who made the decision to say yes to donation and when they passed away; they saved and healed others. It is about people who decided to donate a kidney or a portion of their liver while they were still alive. It is about the most precious gift any of us have been given…Life.
